Honda Cars India will increase costs of its vehicles across all models from the next year January 2016 due to counter balance effect of rising input costs. Honda Cars senior vice-president said We will increase costs from Rs 10,000 to 16,000 depending on the model from January 2016.
Right now, Honda Cars India sells a range of vehicles beginning from the entry-level small car Brio to the sports utility car CR-V with price between Rs 4.25 Lac to Rs 25.13 Lac all price ex-showroom in Delhi.
Different auto car makers like Tata Motors, General Motors, Hyundai Motor India, Maruti Suzuki India, Toyota and German luxury car makers Mercedes Benz and BMW have already declared a hike in costs of their vehicles crosswise over models from January 2016 due to rising input costs.
Moreover, auto producers Nissan, Renault and Skoda have declared plans to increase costs by up to Rs 50,000 from January 2016 due to counter balance effect of rising input costs.
