Indian rider selected for Ducati Globetrotter 90th ride

Indian biker Vir Nakai has been chosen for the Ducati Globetrotter from over the world will cover 30,000 km on three continents Ducati will complete 90 years of its presence in July 2016. More than 3 thousand candidates from over the world applied for the Ducati Globetrotter 90th however at last just seven riders were selected. Vir Nakai from Mumbai is short-listed among the seven riders for the epic road trip and the main Indian to qualify.

Vir will ride the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro bike and will pass torch designed created by the Ducati Design Center. Vir will be escorted by the Ducati Owners Clubs from Misano to Bologna to start this extraordinary adventure. He will ride from Italy to Moscow, Russia covering a distance distance.

Vir Nakai said - I am completely shocked and excited because I would have never thought up I would get in this way. The selection round was an experience. The final decision about Ducati would have been very tough considering that the 13 different Globetrotters finalists from all over the world.

14 riders were settled for the Ducati Globetrotter ride. The competitors were go through the DRE Enduro. Ducati staff analyzed 14 applicants, who were tested on the Ducati Multistrada 1200 Enduro.
