Mahindra & Mahindra has desclose its much anticipated micro SUV the Mahindra KUV100. KUV100 is outfitted with Mahindra's new scope of "mFalcon" aluminum-block motor engines. These aluminum-block motor engines includes 1.2 Liter 3 cylinder petrol engines (mFalcon G80) & 1.2 Liter 3 cylinder diesel engines (mFalcon D75). This denote Mahindra's entrance into petrol market.
Mahindra KUV100 Bookings will open at all dealerships crosswise in India from 19th December 2015. KUV100 will be officially launched on 15th January 2016. Varun Dhawan (Bollywood actor) is the brand ambassador of the new Mahindra KUV100.
The mFalcon 1.2 petrol motor engine depends on SsangYong Tivoli's 1.6 liter motor engine. During the improvement process the Indian utility vehicle producer has filed for 18 patents. The double petrol unit gives yields of 82 bhp @ 5,500 rpm with 114 Nm torque @ 3,500 rpm, and the diesel motor produces 77 bhp @ 3,750 rpm with 190 Nm torque @ 1,750-2,250 rpm.
Mahindra has expanded approx Rs 500 Crore for the layout design development and manufacturing of KUV100. LG Engineering has taken the contract for the interiors designing of the micro SUV KUV100.
KUV remains for Kool Utility Vehicle and it will be available in four variations. First variants is Base (K2 & K2+), Second variants is Mid (K4 & K4+), Third variants is High (K6 & K6+) and the Fourth variants is top end (K8). The Mahindra KUV100 is expected to be priced between Rs 4 Lac to Rs 6 Lac.
