Maybach brand is back as an extra luxury variant of the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class 2015. Mercedes-Benz S-Class Maybach at the same time announced at two events first the world premier at the Guangzhou Motor Show and the second was a presentation at the Los Angeles Motor Show for capturing the imaginations of Mercedes-Benz market globally.
At 5453 mm long, wheelbase 3365 mm, the Mercedes-Benz model range is 20 cm larger in both dimensions than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class Saloon. The passengers benefited from this increased size and in addition from standard equipment which includes seats on both left and right and innovative voice amplification.
Professor Dr Thomas Weber said that New Mercedes-Benz S-Class already defines the disciplines like safety, efficiency, climate control and noise qualities. The Mercedes-Benz Maybach now sets the benchmark in the luxury car segment.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class Maybach would be controlled by a power 6.0 litre, V12 biturbo engine, 530PS peak power and 830Nm peak torque in its S version and in the standard version would be powered by a 4.7-litre, V8 biturbo engine, 455PS peak power.
The Mercedes-Benz Maybach is not a model variant for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class but the German auto maker intends to make Maybach another sub-brand just like AMG a sub-brand of the Mercedes-Benz family offering ultra luxury versions of existing models. We are expecting that the new GLS will be the next car in the future.
