A Nissan recall for conceivable fuel leaks in accidents has been extended to include almost 59,000 Altima and Maxima sedans car all world.The review now covers 2013 to 2016 Altima and 2016 Maxima cars. Additionally included are around 2014 to 2016 Teana cars made in Russia.

Nissan says in reports posted by US security controllers that in an accident, fuel could leak from a seal between the gas tank and the fuel sending unit. That could bring about a fire. Nissan says the issue was found in accident tests, and it has no reports of flames or fuel leaks. Dealers will introduce a retainer ring to keep up a proper seal.
